Stop 1: Gold Coast Ocean Fest, Croyde Bay, North Devon
SevenX made a big splash in Devon. O'Neill, Fat Face, Animal and Protest were there, but that wasn't a problem for us. We felt right at home in the presence of our competition. Sure, their tents were a bit flashier than ours. That just meant we had to be a bit more clever. The event was sponsored by Corona Beer. It was a hot day. Besides the beer tent, what spot would everyone visit? Needless to say, putting our tent near the loos turned out to be quite a strategic move.
